The team at Lao Conservation Trust for Wildlife are doing incredible work to rescue and return animals to their natural habitat. They have breeding programs for some of the most endangered species in the country, including the Siamese crocodile and hopefully soon the hog deer. They care for more than 200 animals including sun and moon bears, 3 species of deer, crocs, langur, gibbons, and tortoises. They’re open to volunteers and donations, and are well worth a visit and support. Just bring bug spray.
